Our Philosophy

We believe that children are intrinsically motivated to learn. The teaching staff promotes learning by providing an environment which encourages discovery, experimentation, and the opportunity to see the results of one's actions. Activities that support growth based on children's abilities and interests are utilized. We are dedicated to helping each child develop unique skills and reach his or her full potential. The Garden of Creative Learning appreciates the individuality of children and families and celebrates diversity. We strive to include both family and community in our learning experiences.

We seek to provide a premier quality early childhood environment which meets children's developmental needs, while initiating them into lifelong, meaningful relationships with the natural world.

The Garden for Creative Learning offers a nine-month program that begins in September and continues through May. A summer camp program is available from June through August.

Our programs are designed to:

Teach academic, socialization, and problem solving skills
Develop self-confidence and self-esteem
Explore areas of potential talent through creative thinking experiences and activities
Increase ability for verbal expression through dramatic play, storytelling, poetry, music and foreign language
Develop trust in self and others
Develop an understanding and appreciation for the world around us
